My wife & I recently had the pleasure to stay at this lovely 12 room hotel in Market Harborough & the level of service that we received here was far in excess of anything we would have expected & at a price that was truly value for money. The owners, Chris & Bruce Kirkman, made us feel as though we were close friends rather than strangers who had just booked a room while visiting relatives & the food was excellent. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble & the atmosphere throughout our stay was one of quiet comfort & friendliness. We can’t praise the quality of this hotel enough or the level of service that the owners gave us, it was everything a good country hotel should be and at a very affordable price. This attention to the needs of their guests is an example that many more hotels would do well to reproduce & is proof to us that the small independent hotel that provides good quality service has little to fear from the big less friendly chains that seem to be springing up everywhere.
We initially found the hotel by looking on the internet for a hotel in Market Harborough & Dingley Lodge Hotel was listed by Tripadvisor as the top hotel in the area, against some well established hotel chains & deservedly so. Situated just outside of the town of Market Harborough & set on a hill overlooking the beautiful Welland Valley, this hotel is a fine example of a Victorian gentleman farmers’ residence & has been sympathetically converted into a fine hotel in Market Harborough. The setting itself is truly magnificent with unspoilt country views & a very quiet setting down its own drive off the main Market Harborough to Corby Road. The location is ideally suited for those wishing to explore the lovely Northamptonshire/Leicestershire countryside & the towns of Market Harborough, Corby, Kettering, Leicester & Northampton are all within easy driving distance as are a number of first class local attractions.Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/6863207
