Burj Al Arab Dubai : An Iconic Hotels

I decided to take my wife Kelly to Dubai for a honeymoon vacation, & I surprised her with a stay in the spectacular Burj al Arab hotel. This is one of the finest hotels I’ve ever seen. We were met by a representative of the hotel at the airport who immediately carried our luggage & sat us in a white Rolls Royce; we were also offered cold towels during the ride because it was quite warm & humid. The moment the limousine pulled up at the entrance, a siren welcomed us perfectly Arabian style, with rose water for the hands, some dates & kava as she guided us through the lobby of the hotel which was all glitz & glamour with a water fountain wall & waterfront facing windows. When we arrived at our gigantic suite aka luxury apartment which was built according to the 90’s era, we were blown away with the magnificence. A butler present on every floor would deliver anything requested for in just minutes. The bathrooms were so elegant with Hermes toiletries which definitely scream luxury. One thing really pleased us was the freebies that they would leave in the room every time such as cake, flowers, chocolates & more.

The day following our arrival we visited the Wild Wadi Water Park, a 5 minute walk from the Burj Al Arab hotel. Being a fool for adventure, this was one of the most thrilling parks I’ve ever been to & I’ve been to many. Each morning doughnuts, mangoes; a part of luxury breakfast awaited us at the Bab al Yam. The highlight of the night was the sea food at Al Mahara restaurant, king crab, foie gras raviolo served with just-right pasta & fresh scallops made with top notch ingredients was worth the not so average bill. We had a reservation at the Skyview bar on the 27th floor which gives a marvelous seascape. The drinks were mellow & our host, Hussein was hospitable. We needed a spa day to rejuvenate, & the Assawan Spa & Health Club was the best way to unwind & the facilities included sauna, pool & Jacuzzi after which we had afternoon tea which I might add we had heard a lot about so we could absolutely not miss that. The following day we went to the Burj beach in a buggy which was a pretty good decision. Our stay was a sumptuous & resplendent one. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/9350628
