Writing Hotels Reviews : Good Reviews Are Detailed & Honests

Hi all, its me again. I left off last time telling you about my Honeymoon in Mexico last May. I also mentioned in that article that I was disabled. So I thought I would let you know about some of my other travels whilst having the unfortunate disease of Multiple Sclerosis. After being diagnosed some four and a half years ago now, it was with great trepidation that I booked a long weekend in Nice for me and my then girlfriend(now my wife):-). We were travelling from Luton airport direct to Nice with Easyjet the lowcost airline, & we were staying in a Mecure hotel just set back from the seafront, which meant not too far to walk, great for me & my problems. Now for those of you reading this in good old blighty you must have heard of Easyjet & how they set the trend for low cost airline travel. , where you pay extras for using the lavatory & such like on board (I was joking about the lavatory, but apparently Ryanair are thinking of introducing it!!). Well one of their money making ideas is that you can pay for a speedyboard pass. This guarantees that you will be one of the first on the aircraft for boarding.

Now maybe I am being a pragmatist but I thought that in this day & age that a person who is registered disabled should be boarded first on an airplane so as not to disrupt the flow of ordinary folks. How wrong I was, yes I was placed in the “special needs” row of boarding but you are then meant to access the plane after the “speedy boarders” have got on the plane. What Easyjet seem to have not fathomed out is that being disabled means that you are more likely a lot slower in your actions, so hence whilst I was trying to reach the plane there was pretty much a free for all happening around me, with all the B class passengers charging past me to get their seats. I forgot to mention, you do not receive specific seat numbers on Easyjet, just sit where you like as it were. I found the whole experience a complete disaster & was over the moon when we arrived in Nice. The hotel was very good for the price we paid with an excellent buffet breakfast which was more than adequte to last all day Yes Nice is expensive, around six euros a pint back in 2007 this was, and I do not expect that the prices are much lower now either. It was nice to travel on the local buses & trams to see the sights, these themselves were inexpensive & a bus to Monaco for the day was 2 euros each, very good value. As for the local transport there was no issues with my disability, quite the opposite in fact, with the French people being very helpful in whatever way they could. It was lovely to sit by the harbour in Nice & Monaco & gaze in amazement at some of the multi million pound yachts, & to dream of what it would be like to live that lifestyle of the rich & famous. Instead we took a two euro ferry ride around the harbour to really appreciate the splendour of these boats. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/5888089
