If you’re a family taking a holiday to Turkey, there are plenty of attractions for all the family. The Ataturk Forest Farm is a lovely alternative to a regular zoo, letting you get up-close & interact with the animals. There are lots of Turkey hotels in the nearby Ankara. There is also a swimming pool, with a restaurant & cocktail bar overlooking it. Visitors are encouraged to be photographed and ride on the camels, which are the park’s biggest attraction. They can ride on the animals & explore the grounds on a ‘safari’ ride. Camels are also available for us during school excursions & birthday parties, & the restaurant can cater for up to 400 people. Kids can play in the bouncy castle, swings, go-carts & flight simulators while the adults relax in the stunning park.
There are plenty of Cyprus hotels nearby to the park including the Petrou Bros Hotel Apartments, which offer pretty gardens & a swimming pool, close by to beaches & the airport. Other options include the Atrium Zenon Hotel, which is a short walk from Larnaca Marina, the beautiful Phinikoudes (palm trees) promenade, & the long sandy beach; & the four star Sun Hall Hotel, located in the centre of cosmopolitan Larnaca. Before you head off to Turkey, make sure you have a great place to stay. Hotels which are close to the Ataturk Forest Farm include the Deniz Atlanta Hotel, also close to Kizilay Square, Ethnographic Museum, & Kurtulus Park. Also nearby are Kocatepe Mosque & Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Ataturk Forest Farm is basically an independent modern farm & it considered a place of natural beauty boasting farms, a zoo, brewery & a selection of delicious restaurants. There is also a mock-up of Ataturk’s House. There is an assortment of lovely places to choose for a picnic, as well as hiking & cycling trails. Animals that can be spotted here include sheep & cows.
