Ever since I was first introduced to Las Vegas at the young age of 9, it’s always been one of my favorite vacation spots to go to. I now vacation there at least once a year but will usually go twice or more. Being such a frequent visitor, & also being the frugal person I am, I’ve mastered the art of finding the best prices for hotels, & searching for Las Vegas hotel specials. Basically, I’m here to tell you how to get the best bang for your buck. When going to Vegas, most people lean towards the big travel websites, such as Expedia, Orbitz, or Travelocity. They pick their dates, find the hotel they want, & book it right there on the spot. I confess, I use to be one of these people. However, after getting tired of overpaying for these hotels, & checking out the Las Vegas hotel property websites individually, I discovered that most of them offered a location to put on a offer code or a promotional code of some sort in their reservation system. I went ahead & started looking for these offer codes to compare with the prices that these big travel companies were providing.
At first, since Las Vegas had a habit of draining every dollar out of my pocket, I thought these offer codes would just be a scam, & I’d end up paying more than I would normally. However, after browsing around a few websites, I began to notice that many of the hotel companies were desperate for business & provided some great Las Vegas hotel specials. For example, on one trip, I had booked the Bellagio, a 5 star hotel in the heart of the the Strip, for about $530 after taxes, over 3 nights. I compared this rate with a special limited time promotion, & found it for about $340 after taxes, for an identical reservation at the Bellagio, a savings of almost $200.
