The Sea Ranch Hotel is one of the few place on the Outer Bank that has the weathered & seasoned historical charm of an oceanfront hotel. Right on the Atlantic Ocean in Kill Devil Hills North Carolina the facility is one of the oldest beachfront hotel on the Outer Banks having opened its doors in the 1960. Like many older landmark on the Outer Banks the Sea Ranch Hotel has survived its share of hurricanes & storms. The hotel was originally located a few miles north of its present location in Southern Shores. But the Ash Wednesday Storm of 1962s destroyed the oceanfront hotel.
