How Best Great Jobs Search Illusions Hold You Back

In the past thirty days I have had multiple conversations with smart, attentive, hard working job seekers about serious job search limitations in their cities, throughout their State, & industries, & vocational specialties, whereby good job openings, pay ranges & career advancement, sign-on bonuses, personal time-off & other rationally expected job attributes – are just unavailable these days in the environment they inhabit. While many readers may recognize some of these problems as being on par with their own job search experiences, the truth is… all the above realities are really job search illusions that hold you back from finding lasting, gainful employment in a career position that you prefer. If you doubt the conclusion made immediately above, I can tell you that the authors of many of the complaints above were issued by healthcare specialists, such as nurses, certified aides, therapist assistants, dieticians, & others. But I’ve heard such complaints from folks in most industries. Such comments often originate from day-to-day perceptions of the job market – much of it coming from conversations with others in their specialty & those having a hard time getting hired. Don’t believe the gossip; not even your own.

What those nurses, assistants, & others didn’t know, is that fewer than 72 hours previous to their complaints, calls arrived to my offices from healthcare facilities in the very State I was visiting, requesting assistance in filling immediate nursing, therapy assistant and certified aide positions that offered respectful full time pay, a clear chain of career advancement (including additional paid training), even the sign-on bonuses that so many felt were integral to exhibiting a serious commitment on the part of employers. What happened that such smart, attentive individuals could become so deluded, or conditioned, to a false understanding of the job search resources available to them?Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/6457971
